Pre-Editing Questionnaire


A temporary title or "Untitled" is fine if you're still working on a title! This just helps me keep track.
Please provide the primary genre (e.g. fantasy, mystery, romance). A more specific subgenre is optional (e.g. paranormal alternate history mystery).
Where in a library or bookstore would your manuscript be filed? (E.g. Self-help; Business; Paleontology)
Round to the nearest 100, e.g. 33,400

The following questions are all optional, but I will ask you about them and answering them helps me orient myself to your project.

Some possibilities include things like overall structure; pacing; idea development; dialogue; consistency of tone; word count; effective prose.
Any other questions or comments about your manuscript, the editing process, or anything else you'd like me to know.
This is completely optional, but I'd love to know a little bit about your writing background and experience. If you have an author bio drafted, you can include it here. Otherwise, feel free to tell me a little bit about your writing history and what's brought you to writing this manuscript.
