Developmental Editing Letter Sample
- A five-page excerpt from a letter written to a first time author. The author had a strong intuitive sense of storytelling, but didn't have a formal understanding of some elements of writing craft, so in this letter I spent more time explaining specific craft concepts and techniques before demonstrating how to apply them. The original letter was seventeen pages.
