Developmental Edit

Developmental Editing is focused on the "big picture" of your work. Provides feedback and guidance on overall structure, pacing, character development, world building, and narrative cohesion. Provides specific and detailed suggestions for addressing issues.

Best for: writers with a complete or mostly complete manuscript that is unfinished. 

Suggested pre-requisites: I strongly encourage you to share your writing with a writing group or critique partner. Get some feedback on your ideas from peers and colleagues prior to investing in developmental editing.

Time Frame: 4-6 weeks upon client delivery of manuscript

Cost: 1 cent per word ($1000 for 100,000 word manuscript)
